Decorating your Christmas tree helps raise funds for the United Way

At Hudson Design Group, we believe in yuletide giving, being with loved ones, and decorating small, flat, Christmas trees... in that order. It's up to you to spend time with your loved ones, but we can help with the other two. You can download the artwork for a small, flat, "scent-free Christmas tree air freshener" for you to decorate, plus some ornaments to get you started.

After you've spruced up your tree, take its picture and submit your tree for everyone to see. The top three best decorated "scent-free Christmas tree air fresheners" will be awarded on December 20.

But here's the real reason for doing this. Remember the charity part mentioned above? A donation to United Way will be made on your behalf. So get decorating and remember to visit those loved ones!

Happy Holidays from all of us at Hudson Design Group.

Hudson Design helps United Way look for local heroes

Faster than a speeding bullet and just in time for the launch of their annual campaign, Hudson Design Group created a new look and feel for the United Way of Southeastern New Brunswick Region's fund raising materials. Focusing on the fact that our community has many heroes, the campaign asks people in the region to both get involved and support this year's campaign. The call to action asks, "Will you answer the call?"

STU survival guide

Did Hudson Design think that university students would listen to us tell them how to survive their first few years of university? Absolutely not! That's why we suggested they teach each other how to survive. The partnership between St. Thomas University, Moosehead Breweries and Hudson Design Group developed a website where senior students could pass their wisdom on to students just starting out at STU. A series of videos posted to the web (www.stusurvivalguide.ca) are lighthearted and just the type of advice first-year students need.

A truly New Brunswick way to celebrate NB Day

Was it a mere coincidence that Hudson Design Group shot a new TV spot for Northumberland Dairy on New Brunswick Day? Not at all. Since Northumberland is the only dairy that is pure New Brunswick, we thought it was fitting. The spot features a tourist going into a local souvenir shop to look for something that is purely New Brunswick. Without hesitation, the shopkeeper offers him a carton of Northumberland Dairy's pure New Brunswick milk.
